Magic in McDade

Sherwood Forest Faire takes place every spring in McDade, TX, which is about 45 minutes east of Austin. Every weekend in April, there are events such as ax-throwing, fight tournaments, fairy dancing and a day-long show put on by Robin Hood and his Merry Company.

Austin Bat Refuge

The Austin Bat Refuge takes in bats from all over Central Texas an this last summer they took in about 300 different bats.
