South Texas Shetland Pony club runs the events and contestants compete in different categories based on age. Organizer Julie Zander says this competition lets kids decide if they want to continue going to competitions to show off their horses. "My favorite part is the kids," Zander said. "I grew up doing this and it's funny how we pass down this tradition.

Mason is participating in Little Mister Cowboy during the show and will have to give a short speech about who he is and what makes him unique.
